2026 Spring Event Schedule, Here We Go Again!
The Sleeper Has Awakened!
After a much needed rest from the crazy hustle of convention season, the time comes again to start it all over. I have greatly enjoyed my physical and mental respite the last couple of months. The recoup as been well needed with all the hardships that many people have been going through. I have been a bit of an art hobbit working through outstanding commissions, creating new merch for some of my freelance clients that I hope to share soon, and doing a look of Warhammer 40k modeling just for me.
I am very excited to get back to seeing fans and having awesome conversations about the things we all love. A good dose of artistic community will do me a world of good. Thankfully this spring is looking full of opportunity.
Fargo Moorhead Comicon : Feb 27 - Mar 1
Fargo usually can’t keep me away for too long and this Spring is no different. I will be featured as an Artist Guest again this year and always happy to kick of the convention season in one of my favorite places. I’ll be sure to hit up Kroll’s Diner as my Fargo ritual goes and can’t wait to see some familiar faces!
Tri-City Con : Mar 14 - 15
I’ll be returning for a second year as a Featured Artist for Tri-City Con in the lovely Grand Island, Nebraska! This is a fantastic fan con run by some amazing local artists and nerds and they really bring the fun and excitement to the heart of Nebraska. Be sure to check them out this March!
Planet Comicon : Mar 27 - 29
Planet is one of my longest standing shows and still one of the largest I attend. It helps when you reapply each year and they just give you the same row for the last 9 years. After so many years attending it always feels like going home in a way, I know the right path to take to my booth almost by rote, the routes in and out of Bartle Hall, the best spots to get in quick for super on the weekends. It is always an adventure and a show I look forward to each year.
That is a brief look at where you can find me this Spring. I hope to see some familiar faces and show them some new and exciting offerings that will be just a taste of all the new creations that will be coming this year. I hope to see some of you soon face to face! Stay safe and be well!

What I’m Playing
Metal Wolf Chaos XD - by FromSoftware, Devolver Digital
I remember long ago hearing about Metal Wolf Chaos as a sort of fever dream of mecha combat and over-the-top Americanism. Originally only released for the Xbox in Japan, Digital Devolver worked on a 2019 remaster of the game to bring it to the rest of the world on multiple platforms. It feels like the developers where given ten 5 Hour Energies and the top 15 worst American action movies and told to make an arcade shooter. As weird as it sounds the whole things works in a strange dream-logic, machismo, X-treme Mt Dew kind of way. The story is absurd to the highest degree and the mech suit is super well designed as one would expect from a lineage of Armored Core. I am about half way through it and there is a part of me that revels in letting my inner 14 year old self go wild and enjoy something so ridiculous and silly and fun. Did I mention the game is in the far future of 2025 and you play as the (much improved over reality) 47th president of the United States? There might be something cathartic in playing a Tarantino style revision of current events with a President that fights back against ghoulish corporate and militaristic abuse of power while freeing the American people from oppression instead of layering on more. There might just be a lesson tucked inside this bombastic pastiche of 80’s Americana.
That’s all for this month, if you enjoyed the small snippet into my life please consider subscribing or sharing with a friend. I hope to see you all again next month!

I never realized they gave you the same spot 🤣
